Hannah Lux Davis was born on May 17, 1986 in Washington. When she was 17 she was diagnosed with an eye condition called exophoria. After having treatment Hannah left for Los Angeles when she was 18 where she enrolled in the New York Film Academy, and the Los Angeles Film School a year later. To try and make her way into the music industry for her final project, she decided to make music videos, which were a success meaning Davis graduated from the Los Angeles Film School in 2006, and went into music video production. She worked for a time as a makeup artist after attending Cinema Makeup School in order to get on the sets of music videos, commercials, and feature films. She started making music videos for people she found on myspace and purevolume. This move put Hannah on the music video market. Over time, heads were turning and she caught the eyes of many big names. This was the start of Hannah's successful career as the go-girl for many including Nicki Manaj, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Jason Durulo, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
Hannah claims to have a song-by-song approach which means she rarely recycles approaches. As a result Hannah Lux Davis doesn't have an evident style. Therefore no one can copy it and it leaves Hannah open for the use of all types of artists as she is flexible with her approach. This is evident as people like Nicki Minaj and Jessie J like fast paced videos but Snoop Dogg and others like slow paced videos.
Many people seem to think that she is very good at what she does, this can clearly be shown by not only the amount of artists she has made music videos for but the awards she has been nominated for and even won because of these music videos. Here is a list of some of these awards:
In my opinion, I think Hannah Lux Davis has a great approach for music videos nowadays which will attract many more artists and many more consumers in the future. I believe that she has come a long way in her life and will continue to improve and become one of the most well known music video producers.
