ANY DIEGETIC SOUND THAT OCCURS AS PART OF YOUR IDEA?

Diegetic sound is sound from a certain film or video whose source is visible on the screen or whose source is implied to be present by the action of the film. Diagetic sound is used in our music video at the start to imply a argument that holds importance but more so narrative to help the story line be understood by the audience. This is implemented by an argument of them shouting and hurling abuse towards one another to show there strong feelings and a form of relationship between them and help understand their role in the music video.

ANY FOLEY SOUND THAT NEEDS TO BE RECORDED AS PART OF YOUR IDEA?

Foley sound is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film or video in post-production to enhance audio quality. We are not planning on using any of this in our music video

ANY LIP-SYNCING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AS PART OF YOUR IDEA?

Yes. We use lip syncing a minimal amount to help engage the actors with the song and make

them look apart of the music video to look more professional but more so realistic and powerful

and also show creativity. It is difficult to produce but with only small amounts we can perfect this

and use our strengths in other elements such as camera angles or Mise-en-scene.

LIST OF PROPS NEEDED FOR OUR MUSIC VIDEO

Our music  video will be rather synthetic and natural therefore props are not a necessity and our primary focus is on setting and character as the props hold little influence and importance towards the music video. However certain props such as textbooks and test tubes and lab coats will be present as the setting is school and these props help create a realistic and natural look to set the scene.

POST 29 - (PLANNING) COSTUME AND MAKEUP

For our music video, we have decided that to fit our storyline best, both characters will wear casual clothes in every scene. They will be wearing different types of casual clothes in different scenes to show different time periods of past and present. We do not have any makeup within our music video other than what the female character would usually wear when they'll be out. Overall, we do not have set costume and makeup other than what the characters would usually where in the situations and setting they are in during the video.
